Merry Christmas // Wreck-It Ralph fandom

I'm so sorry for being absent for quite a time now. I've been pretty busy because of Christmas preparations and stuff, but I think that you can imagine ^^; Maybe it's everyone's curse :')

As for the occasion, I want to say: MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all! I hope you had pieceful holidays ♡(゚▽゚)

To be honest, there's nothing worth writing about at the moment since my last entry. Because, well, as I said, I was totally into Christmas preparations and didn't even leave the house during Christmas holidays (,,•﹏•,,)

There's just one thing I want to let you know: Wreck-It Ralph is awesome! I went off to see this movie with some of my (gamer) friends before Christmas, and I really enjoyed watching it ^^ In first place - surely - you can say it's a typical Disney movie (which isn't bad, if you ask me! I really do like Disney .///.! ), but it's so much more funny if you're kind of familiar with games! ☆ So for me / us, this movie was hilarious!! Between Ken, Ryu, Chun-Li, Blanka and Cammy (Street Fighter series) you'll find some other classic game characters, such as Bowser (Super Mario series), Pac-man and the ghosts Pinky, Blinky and Inky (Pac-man), Sonic and Doctor Eggman (Sonic series), King morbol (Final Fantasy) and several others. Additionally, the movie is full of adaptions and hidden side jokes.

(taken from http://disney.wikia.com/: "Aerith lives" (Final Fantasy VII))

Let's say, if you got any free time, you really should consider going to watch it! Especially if you like and/or play games by yourself, but this is not obligatory if you ask me. It just would make the watching experience even greater  ( ´ ▽ ` )

Additionally, Disney offers a very cute gimmick on their website at the moment! It's possible to play "Fix-It Felix Jr.", "Sugar Rush" and "Hero's Duty" online! Just check it out here if you're interested ☆ (by the way, I'm so surprised Disney didn't even translate AKB48's song "Sugar Rush", but used the Japanese song for the game! I didn't like it before... but now it's just like I'm addicted to that song щ(゚д゚щ) ).

So by the way, what do you think about "Wreck-It Ralph"? Is anyone planning to go to see it? Or did you already watch it? (And if yes, what did you think when you watched this movie?) ^_^

Silent Hill: Revelation (3D) - Review

I'm visiting the cinemas quite often lately - and to be honest, that's rather not typical for me. The latest movie I watched was "Silent Hill: Revelation", about which I want to write in this entry.

[Please be aware that this post might include SPOILERS, of both the game (Silent Hill 3) and the new movie. ]

As for me, I just want to say that I can't understand most of the reviews on IMDb at all. I'm a big fan of the SH-series, and I was totally disappointed.

I expected nothing much, since I didn't like the first Silent Hill movie either. It was okay, but for my taste, they didn't manage to create a true "Silent Hill-feeling". Anyway, "Revelation" maybe was the worst movie I ever saw in my whole life (And unfortunately, I already watched a lot of quite bad movies... -_-'). I, personally, think that 6 or even 7 out of 10 points is totally too much for this movie. I'd give it at max. 3/10. And this is just because I enjoyed the graphics, nothing else. I want to explain you, why.

First of all, I think every single actor was terrible as hell itself. I don't know whether it's the actors' or the director's fault. So maybe it's even the screen-play what was poor. Otherwise, the actors are some of the worst actors on earth. Emotions? Well, I'm afraid I didn't see any. The dialogues were as flat as a ironed piece of paper, too. And I'm still unsure why they just messed up the plot THAT much.

You know, I'm aware of that it's hard to create a movie on base of a video game in general, and especially of a game which is deep and kinda freaked out. But it's possible to do better. They should have decided BEFORE whether they want to adapt the story of Silent Hill 3, or if they just want to create a completely new story. Not both. And, well... unfortunately, they did exactly this.

Let me give you some examples:

Vincent.

I really think that they really destroyed a wonderful character. Vincent (the original one) is a quite deep character, is kinda malicious and hell damn yeah he's absolutely sane about what he's doing all the time. In the movie, he turns out to be a class mate (!?) of Heather. He's as thick as a brick and looks like they tried to make him look like a 'sexy hilly-billy-boy' from the fifties (btw.: he just don't). Oh and hell yeah, he's not who he seems to be at the beginning, but he's a son of the sect. Guys, it's totally obvious. But OF COURSE he decides to help Heather, because... he falls in love with her. No, really. They even kiss. щ(゚д゚щ)

(taken from http://www.aceshowbiz.com)
I mean, they obviously destroyed this character so much, you can't even recognize him. Anyway I think a love story is totally misplaced here.

Pyramid Head.

Yes, yes, yes. I already knew it from the movie poster, that he will take a role in this movie. So I wasn't surprised about his appearance. Anyway I wonder why they put him into the plot? OH well, I know! Because he was the only one who was cool in this whole movie. Nevertheless, his appearances were totally random and were ONLY for show-off. Without Pyramid Head, the movie would just die because of vacuity. I think that's the only reason why they put him into Heather's life, even if it doesn't make any sense, actually. Even if I'd like to stop complaining about Pyramid Head's apperance (because, as I said, those few moments were the only ones that were 'cool'), I just need to add a fact I still can't and probably never will understand:

Why does Pyramid Head fight against Claudia in the end?

I mean, come on! I think that's just so far-fetched!? Why would he? Why should he? (And why is he in the movie anyway again??). I think that this scene was just pure black despair on the part of the producers/director/movie makers, just to add a flashy final battle. It's just odd.

The Nurses.

Sure. Same effect as Pyramid Head. It's like the producers thought like "OH, let's bring back those nurses, too. People will know them and freak out, because they love them and they're so popular! It doesn't matter how, at least they're in the movie!". Yes. I'm totally sure that this was their main thought about that. I know that there are indeed nurses in Silent Hill 3, but they are not that senseless in the game as in the movie. In the game, they obviously refer to Alessa's stay in hospital as a child, where she was bothered from everyone around her. In the  movie... I don't have any clue. I'm sorry.

(taken from screenrant.com)

Memory of Alessa.

I don't want to be mean, but: WHAT THE §$=(!"%. Maybe the character "Alessa" is the most important character in the whole Silent Hill series. In "Silent Hill 3", Heather (or more: "Cheryl") needs to fight the Memory of Alessa, which is like - as for me - one of the most important moments in the game. In the movie... not quite. I just don't even get what happened, to be honest. Actually, the Memory of Alessa wants to absorb Heather, so they can 'become one' again. Nevertheless, Heather just 'absorbs' the Memory of Alessa. E voilá. Done. Ooookay...?
(Additionally, she had a terrible make-up. Seriously, I thought this was a high budget movie...? She looked more like a dirty and unwashed 16 years-old gothic child which tried to put her make-up on for the first time ever....)
[[EDIT:: I said I "thought" it was a high-budget. Well, I just looked it up -  and noticed they only spent around 20mio.$ on that production. Maybe there's no further comment needed. It might explain a lot.]]

It's just kinda sad that this movie doesn't include any "horror" and no scary moments at all (even though I think that the big spider-monster, which transformed its victims into dolls, was quite nice). Additionally, there's this big lack of atmosphere, especially because of just stupid dialogues who makes you rather laugh than scared. Even the first movie had a tighter atmosphere... .__.!

Well, I still could write hundreds of pages about how I am disappointed and even kinda angry about this movie (and the money I spent to see it.... X_X), but I just want to come to a conclusion.

If I knew before what this movie is like, I would have NEVER paid any money for that.
(I think I wouldn't have decided to see it even if it was for free, to be honest...)

This movie is just messed up completely (Heather's father won't die either, by the way...?!),  the actors are bad, the storyboard is bad, and even if they would have released this movie as "Movie XY" and not as "Silent Hill", it would be still a quite bad movie, since it doesn't make any sense.

If you're a fan of some random movie with some epic scenes from Pyramid Head, then you maybe should watch it. But I'd suggest to watch it in around one year or something, when you can view it on free tv.

Anyone else watched this movie? What did/do you think about "Silent Hill: Revelations 3D"? Please share your opinions, I'm curious whether it's just me thinking THAT bad about it ^^;;

First snow! // BB Cleanser Review

Hey what's up, party people? :') Are you already in Christmas mood? As for Germany, we finally got some snow! ☆ Even though I really don't know if we'll have a White Christmas (because we already were missing it several times.... (;_;) ), at least we're able to enjoy some pre-christmas mood anyway, haha! ^^ So I want to share some pictures with you~  What about you? Are you already having snow, too? ^o^

And I really need to mention, that I sinned badly during the last days...! My dad bought 500g (!!!) of marzipan with dark chocolate... and Ben & Jerry's ice cream ;A; I mean: WHY GOD WHY? |D Nevertheless, I enjoyed the ice cream with some strawberries <3

(Ben&Jerry's Cookie Dough with strawberries~ ☆ )

As I mentioned in my previous post, I bought several things which might be worth (at least) a short review. The item I want to write about this time is the "BB Cleanser" by Skin79. I bought it for approx. 11,50$  (9,70€),  including postal charges.

The cleanser's color is almost milky clear-transparent with a slight touch of pink. If you ask me, the smell is kinda... flowery, mixed with a typical vanishing cream smell. So actually, it really smells like a women's product (which it obviously is... anyway... |'D ). I mean, most products dealing with skincare and make-up are developed for women's skin... _ _! So it's a normal thing to deal with if you're using make-up or skin- and haircare products (yep, regarding shampoo it's just the same...).

Anyway, it says that it completely relieves the skin from make-up (such as BB-creams, for example) and dead skin cells as well. Additionally, Skin79 promises that this cleanser is very soft and re-hydrating AND feeding the skin with O² (dioxygen). Since I'm having trouble with my skin anyway (because my face is quite large-pored...  ( TДT) ) I thought that I just give this product a try. I mean, it cannot get worse anyway, can it..? |D

The application is totally easy. As per  information printed on the bottle, you just need to apply the gel all over your face, leaving out the parts around your eyes and mouth (as usual). You won't need any water (!) before, just apply the gel onto your (dry) skin. As soon as you finished this step, you'll feel a weird but funny sparkling/prickling effect on your skin. This is the moment when the cleanser starts its work and reacts - the gel directly starts to create little foam bubbles, using O². I took some pictures for you, so you can follow this process:

(1)
(2)

(3)

After 1-2 minutes, you can just rinse the foam off with some luke warm water.

I personally was quite surprised my skin really felt clean and fresh after using this cleanser, especially because it was the only washing/cleansing product I used Σ(゚Д゚)!So I'll definitely keep on using this product and update this post later, if I notice any extremely positive or negative side effects! ☆

As for now, I can just recommend the BB Cleanser, even though I still feel like I should use some moisturizer after I finished cleansing my face. But maybe that's only because of my personal skin...?  I don't know. I'm not that familiar with such issues... |''D

Did anyone else have some experience with this product? I'd really appreciate your comments ☆

Birthday and Christmas market ☆

Since I was ill and busy during the last days, I wasn't able to write any blog entry ... _ _! I'm sorry for that! But of course, there were some things going on which I wanted to write about anyway - so please enjoy my short summary ^_^

Well, as some of you might know, it was my birthday on November 19th (just one day after I came home from the fashion show, you remember? ☆ ). Unfortunately, it was a Monday, so I wasn't able to celebrate D: But some of my friends came to visit me anyway ^^ I didn't get lots of "presents" due to my wish for some money... (It's because I really want to visit Japan again soon to see all my friends over there and practise my Japanese skills (^^ゞ ).

Because I really liked the game "Heavy Rain", my friends decided to prepare a "story" about a little origami fox |D Anyhow, it was cute... ^^; By the way, the fox had my name, surprise!!

Additionally, they made some very delicious sweets and cakes for me ;__;! Thank you so much for all this!! By the way, the "sparkly skull" is an insider |D It's because there is a glitter-skull as a stamp within my purikura-app, which I used to .... well, use often. So, someday they even started complaining if I didn't use it! (*´∀`*);;;;

For dinner, we went to an Italian restaurant (and yes, actually it's really an Italian restaurant, not a "pizzeria"!), but as you can see.... we almost ordered pizza anyway |D But it was so delicious!! It's been YEARS since I visited this restaurant, so I was totally happy to be able to eat there.

Talking about "celebrations" ... it's getting closer to Christmas!! When I visited Bonn this week, the Christmas market had already been completely built ☆ And there are even already some hints of Christmas in our university~ (^^♪

During the last few years, I wasn't into Christmas due to some - let's call it - "bad" experiences. But somehow I'm really looking forward to this year's Christmas time. It's not that I don't or didn't like Christmas in general, by the way ^^ I actually really love the atmosphere. Maybe Christmas is the only time I can stand cold weather (^^ゞ

Today, I went to a cute little bistro/café with Caro to have some lunch in our break time. We had some "potato sandwich", which actually sounded weird, but was totally delicious!! ^_^

And afterwards, we had a walk across the inner city, where they held the Christmas market - and bought some hot spiced wine (in Germany, we call this one "Glühwein". It's very popular during winter time! ^^). But because we were running out of time to head back to University for our course, we had to take it with us ... it was kinda weird to drink an alcoholic drink while sitting in the lecture (・・;

I'm kinda sorry that this post seems to be quite "random"... _ _!! I think that I will write something useful next time, such as a review, since I bought some stuff which might be worth one ☆

I'll leave you now, headin' to bed and trying to sleep because it's already getting quite late (^^ゞ

Good night! ❤

"Show one, show on" fashion show

Geez, my weekend was quite vivid! I went to Trier to visit a fashion show, in which one of the most lovely people I know participated ❤

We went there by train, because as a student it was totally cheap traveling with my student's train ticket (I knew that SOMETIME I'd stand to benefit from this, finally, haha!). Anyway we had a 5-hours-travel, which was kind of ... exhausting? I think it's interesting how traveling by train can be exhausting anyway, even though it's actually only sitting around doing nothing. But it was (^^ゞ

Fortunately, there weren't any delays (whohooo!! This is totally uncommon, regarding the German trains! ) so we arrived as scheduled. We had a lot of spare time and decided to get something to eat before leaving to the location. The only "restaurant" (if you want to call it like that...?) which was on our way was McDonald's close to a clearway, and even though it was close to an adventure we finally arrived to get some small snacks there.

As for a McDonald's restaurant, this one looked kinda fancy, I think! I personally had some "Chicken TS"-burger, I don't remember the explicit name, unfortunately...^^;; Anyway, when we arrived at the location ("Bobinet", which will be turned into modern offices and lofts in future), we already were able to meet "Sam", our friend ☆

[By the way, please check out her new and official Facebook page and leave a like!  I think she really deserves it! ❤ ]

She was so nervous..! And to be honest, we were like that as well. We saw some of her sketches before, but she worked really hard during the last months to realize lots of her outfits, just for this show... so I think you can imagine what the atmosphere was like.

Every visitor got a program and some chocolate praliné, which was chocolately-chocolately |D Inside of the program there were some short introductions of the attending designers and - of course - also some photos of their works (since my scanner doesn't work that properly at the moment, I will hand them in later... I hope you don't mind! (/_;)).

Before I start explaining too much, I decided to just upload some of the photos I took during the show :)

I'm sorry that the solution is quite fuzzy, but we just had second-row seats and the light wasn't that good for taking photos with a mobile phone... _ _! If you want to view some quite pretty shots, just visit ArtEO's facebook gallery, since he had the possibility to take some professional shots during the dress rehearsal. Anyway I will edit some of the photos during the next few days and add them to this entry - I wanted to do this today, but I was at University until late and now I must confess that I'm just too tired and lazy to do so .___.!

But... well. It was so touching to see Sam's pieces being presented, since I know she worked so hard - and it finally paid off. It just felt like a huge happy ending.

Afterwards, we decided to go to her home instead of partying at the official after-show party. We had some spaghetti for dinner - and Sam bought some beer to celebrate the evening when we called it a day ☆

Since we all had important schedules the next day, we decided to skip sleep and to stay awake until our train left. Which was 5:44 a.m. (!!). Lucky, we didn't have a long walk to the station (*´▽`*)

Inside of the train, we all tried to sleep, which... kinda failed, to be honest, haha...! But at least Sam had some time to relax and sleep until she had to get up to help dismantling at the backstage.
